Unlike what is written on some forum, we remind you that the Mondial Micro is a open championship. All boats (prototypes, racing, crusing, microsail, neptune, etc…) are welcome to this great event.

A bientôt

It seems only a « open championship » for boats from France???
ISAF and IMCCA-Rules are clear: First language of event must be english and not french as published in your NOR.
We will stop our preparation for this event until this will be changed in your Notice of Race.

You said, that this is an « open championship ». You only mean french speaking people?
In your NoR french is the first language.
ISAF- and IMCCA-Rules are clear: English is the first language for a world championship.
As long as there is no change, we will stop preparation for Microcup and will not compete at this event.
My last post was not published by you. You fear an open discussion?

It’s holiday in France. I was not sitting behind my computer…
I send your comment to the organisation committee. The modification of the NOR is being studied, the answer will come very soon.
About your last comment I do not fear anything, but aggressive people on forum are annoying.
regards.

Sadly, this is not agressive, just realistic. We had bad experiences with abuse of the national language, and NOT ONLY IN FRANCE. But france is the most experienced organizer of Micro Cups and such a problem should never occur.
I’m afraid the position of Francis could be the same for a lot of foreign competitors.

It was not my aim to be agressive. So sorry for that and thanks for your answer. Perhaps you can understand, that this language-problem is annoying for me.
